A company called Island records signed the band and history was made. everybody loved the buggles especially to see them in action. coincidentally Island Records are now well known especially for having signed Bob Marley.

This entertains their target audiences and provides more sales of consumer merchandise as the audience funds the bands. music videos began to play an important role in artists' careers. It is considered that even Madonna's career has been greatly influenced by her videos that presented a sexy, appealing look of the artist. Madonna now tries to achieve the look of the Marylin Monroe. So in conclusion music videos have taken a lot of influence on society, some people argue that music videos are more important than actual music as some celebrities sell them self rather than their talents.
