Changes to Video

I am going to outline a few changes that have been made to the intial idea of my music video.

Stop motion
My stop motion ideas originally consisted of stop motion toast, slippers and coins.
I have now limited my stop motion ideas because of my other ideas and a slight problem with the camera i used.
When takinng pictures of the toast and coffee, i had trouble with the toast disappearing at the same time as the coffee cup turning around. Alongside this the lighting was causing the camera to focus on a different aspect of the frame, which didnt help. I therefore decided to try and at least get pictures of the slippers moving along the floor. Which prooved more difficult then i first imagined. The first fault with this was no matter where i took pictures of the slippers the shot looked unproffesional and grainy. I therefore decided not to use these.
 I then came to a decision that when the lyrics played 'i want my money back' i would have stop motion coins. I had no problem taking these particular pictures, only what background and floor i was going to use. After trying three i came to the conclusion that a wooden background and a spotted floor would make for the perfect background i wanted.

Background image problems.
At first i wanted the majority of my filming to be created outside. However, the weather prooved difficult to do this, especially with my protagonist only being in a dress.
Therefore i developed other ideas of shot backgrounds. Mainly using the 'Green room' in which i shot alot of video in. This enabled me to edit the background using Abdobe pro editing software to manipulate the background into looking like the shot was outside.

Chorus Teddy bear stop motion

stop motion i have used - To create this effect i took pictures of the teddy bears in the green room. I did this so that when i uploaded them onto the edit suite i could use a matrox tool that allows the background to be subtracted. This was effective because i could then make it look like Teddy bears were going around my protagonists feet. (unfortunately the video would not load)

location list

Field - I used the field to film my protagonist singing the chorus, i also like the trees that were in the background.
Bedroom- I used the bedroom so i could film my protagonist in her pjs laid on the bed.
Dining room - i used the dining room so that my protagonist could look up at the lights and drink coffee.


Backgrounds
I used the green room to film certain parts of the music video....
I am then going to photograph thesde backgrounds to replace it.

Prop List

The props that i have used have not only been used by protagonist but are used for stop motion purposes.

Props

Flowers - (Real) are used by my protagonist so she can pick the petals off. (Fake) are thrown by my protagonist.
Teddy bears - The protagonist cuddles several teddys, Teddys are also used in the chorus in which i have used stop motion to make four bears go round a stool.

Bird - The bird is perched on my protagonists finger as she sings to it.
Rubber duck - filmed stationary in the music video also used on digipack and poster.

Costume
Dress as the main costume white dress with red floral design (Quirky)
multi-coloured spotty pjs
pencil skirt, and shirt for a weather presenter.



My music video only has one actor, Leonie.
